Founder Auna Stewart is delighted to welcome you to Iguana Music! With over twenty years of experience leading early childhood music and movement classes, Auna is passionate about creating inclusive, joyful musical experiences for families.

Growing up in a musical household, Auna studied piano and sang in many choirs. Auna graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Music from Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle. They taught parent-child music at Gymboree Play & Music for 17 years and received an award for excellence in teaching from the National Gymboree Headquarters. Auna then taught parent-child music at Sunshine Music Together for four years. They have also worked as a music therapist for children with special needs at Green Lake Elementary for the last 16 years.

Auna enjoys spending time with their family and friends, practicing yoga, reading, befriending dogs, and being in nature. They are constantly on the quest to find the best gluten free foods Seattle can offer.
